Thomas Sleight Cabin
Bear Lake County Courthouse
We are joining with the City of Paris, and the Thomas sleight Family to help preserve the Thomas Sleight Cabin Park located on South Main Street Paris.
The Bear Lake County Commissioners have said that if an organization would show that they could preserve the old courthouse for future generation that they would let the organization re-purpose the courthouse.
One way this could happen is for 1,000 individuals to commit to a $5.00 a month donation for 5 to 10 years.
If you would like to donate to this cause please contact Friends United for Bear Lake . This money will be put into a special Bear Lake Re-purpose fund that will only be used to re-purpose the old courthouse.
Meet Me In Paris Event
The purpose of this event is to connect to our past by telling the stories of the people that lived and settled Paris.
To create a unity in the community and to support our efforts of preserving our past.
We want to share the artistic, musical, dramatic and literary talents in the valley.
Proceeds from the event will be used to Preserve historical structures in the Bear Lake Valley.
Folklore and Apple cider Cemetery Walk
6:00 - 9:00 p.m. September 28th
at the Thomas Sleight Cabin on South Main Paris Proceeds go toward the
Thomas Sleight Cabin Preservation project.
